TAG is now accepting applications for our 2022 Equity and Uplift Awards. Our Scholarships include show opportunities, full member benefits, and more.

TAG Scholarships 2022

In order to better serve our city, it’s artists, and humanity, TAG offers two annual scholarships. These scholarships are specifically dedicated to enriching the artists’ experience for low income artists and artists who identify from backgrounds, groups, or communities that are underrepresented in the arts.

Applications are available online and will be accepted from December 29, 2021 to January 31, 2022.

TAG’s artists have dedicated two membership spaces for scholarship’s for the 2022 calendar year. The Equity Award will be granted to an artist of merit who comes from a background, group, or community that is underrepresented in the arts. The Uplift Award will be granted to an artist of merit whose total household income for 2020 (as verified by tax documentation) is less than $35,000. The Equity Award includes a solo artist's display at TAG Gallery in June of 2022. The Uplift Award includes a solo artist's display at TAG Gallery in August 2022.

Both scholarships are open to adult residents (18 years or older) of LA County only, both men and women, single or married, and irrespective of race, creed, identity, orientation, or color. Our scholarships are dedicated to working artists and are not available to students in graduate or undergraduate programs at college or university. Past members and the immediate family to past TAG Artists are not eligible for the award.

Awardees will be announced by March 2, 2022.
