James Lane How to Make a Photograph
"In my work as a complex photographer, I see creativity as fluid. It has a tendency to flow over and around established parameters and expectations in the same way the liquid medium takes an unexpected course when it is added to my photographs."
"This show is my own “boy’s” desire to celebrate male beauty, male tenderness and man-to-man embrace. It is my intent to confirm that there is no shame in being“Different from the Others”and to provide a perspective of beauty and desire as I celebrate it."
“Ultimately, Remnants is about moving on,” says the artist. “These paintings and sculptures are an acceptance of the foundation that formed the person I became. They are a love song to the loves that missed.”

“After all the gloom, doldrums, and idiocy of the last year and a bit, I wanted to see color, texture, and some light at the end of the tunnel. Pridepop collects some of my favorite artists who work in color, message, and symbol. Come pop with us.” – K Ryan Henisey
“Pridepop celebrates queer artists and their creations in an explosion of vibrant chunks, emotive tints, and sultry textures. It’s vital to recognize and champion queer art during Pride Month, and pay homage to the trailblazers and icons who came before us so we can exist loud and proud.” – Sküt
Proud is an all-member exhibition in the upstairs Sky Gallery at TAG.
