Join us at TAG Gallery for a guided tasting of four red and white wines, where guests are encouraged to compare notes, discover personal favorites, and enjoy thoughtful conversation. After the tasting, linger in TAG’s six galleries, take in the art at your own pace, and unwind with coffee or tea before heading home.

We recommend ride sharing for this event, or if your a neighbor, a walk works well after wine tasting.

The 4th Annual Lazarus Award for Excellence in Watercolor Exhibition returns to TAG, The Artists Gallery. This exhibition, focused on watercolor paintings, is L.A.’s meaningful showcase of light-filled, watercolor, goauche and water pencil mediums.

Austin Lubetkin is a visual artist and software engineer whose work is shaped by his experiences of autism and synesthesia. He sees language, sound, and emotion as colors and patterns, and translates this sensory crossover into bold, graphic compositions. Using the visual language of advertising, social media, and luxury branding, his work explores how identity, beauty, and neurodivergence are packaged, judged, and sold.

TAG Gallery presents the OPENING RECEPTION of featured solo artists

Eren Alptekin weaves memory, observations of place and human connection into abstract works, textured, layered and luminous in color and light; Barry Jackson captures the unique psychological power of the human figure - "a vessel for the unconscious—summoning thoughts and projections shared from artist to viewer"; Joo Park-Kwon's silk and hanji paintings are meditations on "interconnectedness" through time honored Korean techniques; Joe Pinkelman's ceramic forms - cairns - "are metaphors of direction and salvation", they are records of world events;  Explorers Photography captures "fleeting moments when light, movement and behavior align to show the ocean's complexity and vitality".

TAG Artists present “small works,” a group show that examines how artists distill concept and craft into intimate, small-format pieces.

Doreen Lorenzo is a successful leader at the crossroads of design, innovation, and education. As the former president of frog design, she has spent decades advising companies on creativity and strategy. In 2016, she founded the Center for Integrated Design at the University of Texas at Austin and later established the School of Design and Creative Technologies, where she serves as Assistant Dean. It is the fastest-growing school in the College of Fine Arts.

A longtime columnist for Fast Company and co-creator of the podcast Creativity Is the Job of the Future, she advocates for the idea that human creativity versus machines, emphasizing that human imagination is our greatest asset in an AI-driven world. Doreen was honored to be profiled by Texas Monthly as one of 15 Innovators Reshaping Texas

PAM DOUGLAS AND RAYA YARBROUGH This mother-daughter collaboration transforms what those in power label ‘IMPROPER IDEOLOGY’; into a defiant celebration of truth-telling through art.

IMPROPER IDEOLOGY merges painting, sculpture, poetry, and music into immersive experiences that challenge visitors to inhabit both physical and emotional landscapes. Douglas's mixed-media works don't merely illustrate Yarbrough's poems—they embody them. Text flows across weathered surfaces, intertwines with found objects, and cascades from hanging installations, creating environments where words become tactile and images sing.
