Carolyn Lord was introduced to the California Style of plein air watercolor while a 1970's college student. Lord's early career capitalized onwatercolor's portability with travel. Lord has exhibited in numerous solo and group shows in galleries, civic art venues, museums, plein air events, and on-line competitions. 2024 highlights include Sonoma Plein Air, Santa Cruz Statewide, Signature American Watermedia, Philadelphia Watercolor Society, Watercolor USA,Rocky Mountain National, and 2 solo shows at regional art centers.
