Artist Statement

As far as I can see, the world of Pop Art is wide open for social and political revolution: Basquiat, Goya, Kara Walker, Picasso. One man’s Guernica can be another man’s guillotine. All of Soda and Snacks is just a syringe. Soda and Snacks is ground zero. I want people to look at what they see, really look. I want people to have agency.
